All Four Teams in Action Monday
Monday is one of those rare and wonderful days when all four Hanover teams will be in action at the same time. There are only two schools in New Hampshire that have four teams - Hanover and Exeter. At this point in the season, all four teams are ready to roll, having experienced the ups and downs necessary to build team unity and resilience. Well, the Freshmen are undefeated after two games, but we'll count on the JV2 to keep them humble.
The Varsity and JV1 will head to Nashua Monday to play Nashua South. Dismissal time is 2:20, and departure is at 2:30 sharp. They will be back to white uniforms. The JV1 match is at Nashua South High School (36 Riverside Street, Nashua, BH 03062), and the Varsity game is at Stellos Stadium, half a mile away (7 Stadium Drive, Nashua, NH. 03062). Game times are at 5:00.
Nashua South will be a challenging game for the Varsity. The Purple Panthers are 5-0, and on Saturday they beat Manchester Central 1-0. Central was tabbed as the team to beat in NH this year. Well, South beat them.
The Freshman team will also go on the road for a game at Keene High School (43 Arch Street, Keene, NH 03431) at 4:30. Hanover will wear white. Dismissal time is 2:35, and departure is 2:45. There will be snacks on the picnic table for the departing players. Be sure to clean up after yourselves!
The lone home hame will be the JV2's match at Dresden at 4:30 against Fall Mountain. Players will be able to take the practice but to the game, but need to arrange for transportation home after the game. Coach Bucket will be breaking out the lucky yellow strip for the lads.
